The VS-300 Sensor Management Station The VS-300 Sensor Management Station provides the networking link to standard factory automation enabling the sensor to not only display critical CO2 and temperature parameters anywhere in the company's intranet, but also be the determining factor in process control. The Station provides the reliable connection from the sensor directly into the customer's PLC in PLC data format. The primary media is either Ethernet or Profibus PA offering the most reliable and widely used communications method in use today. Ethernet can be deployed as standard Ethernet or as EtherNet/IP. For installations without digital capability, 4-20ma is also available. The VS-300 Sensor Management Station also provides a bright vacuum flourescent display to permit local observation of process parameters. Along with the display are four pushbuttons enabling the operator the ability to modify process offsets, product brand, display units such as Fahrenheit or Celsius, and initiate logging to locally connected USB storage. The VS-300 Sensor Management Station is capable of entirely stand alone applications where connection to factory automation is not required. The VS-300 Sensor Management Station is housed in a NEMA 4X enclosure that is fully IP67 compliant. top
